There are three sizes of Aeron chair, and the one that suits you best will depend upon both your height and your weight. In some cases more than one model could be comfortable. This table will help you decide which one is best for you:

Lumbar Pad

+ adjustable in height (up and down)

- less comfortable due to smaller surface

What kind of arm pads are there?

You can choose between leather and vinyl arm pads.

 

Leather arm pad

+ more natural haptic

recommeded for personal use, where one and the same person is using the chair

 

Vinyl arm pad

+ easy to clean

recommended for commercial use, where different people use the same chair, more hygienic

 




   
Do I need hard floor casters?

If you have parquet, tiles, laminat or any other kind of hard floor, it is urgently recommended to order hard floor casters. You will profit from the following advantages:

+ less abrasion on your floor

+ lower noise when rolling

+ casters have a break which releases when you sit on the chair, no unwanted rolling around

The term 'fully loaded'. What does it mean?

The term 'fully loaded' relates to the functions available to adjust the chair to your needs. If a chair is 'fully loaded' it has the following functions available: - adjustable, pivoting arms , - tilt limiter , -forward tilt ,- tilt tension.

The term 'fully loaded' does not relate to the kind of back support, the type of arm pad or metal finish.

An aeron 'fully loaded' will begin with the product code AU123.

 




   
Is there a 12 year guarantee for the aeron?

Herman Miller offers a 12 year warranty for the aeron chair. 5 years on the pellicle AirWeave and 3 years on the gas lift. This guarantee promise is made for a 24/7 usage.
